Celebrating 20 Years of Doing Maine Justice
For twenty years, the
Volunteer Lawyers Project has
worked to make "justice for all"
a reality in Maine. By providing
free information, assistance and
pro bono representation in civil
legal matters, our volunteers give
low-income Mainers the tools
and the know-how to be equal
participants in our legal system.
Empowering people to assert their
rights, extending the protections -
not just the obligations - of the law
to everyone, protecting families,
incomes, homes, and workers,
using the law to change lives for
the better – it’s what every Mainer
deserves and it’s how we
Do Maine Justice every day.
Our full report is a beautiful
(but large) 17 page PDF document. Download it
